The code of public tenders for contract works, services and supplies allows for the identification of an individual organisation qualified for supplying material and equipment through a so-called "turnkey system". Contracts for electromedical equipment are generally awarded with this procedure, therefore the contractor has to make sure the supplied material is installed and working properly.

STS has structured a specific area in cooperation with some of the major international sector corporations, to provide technical assistance to the installation of diagnostic and radiotherapy equipment and of whole operating wards. In this way, equipment suppliers can outsource the services that do not belong to their "core business", reducing both responsibilities and related internal costs.

Our services include: job order management, paper planning and control for the participation to the tender - and then construction work planning and direction, construction site management and control, by carrying out the specific following tasks:
• project support for the participation to the tender: equipment installation project; area or ward restructuring project;
• computation and economic check through specific cost control procedures; economic planning and organisation of the construction site interventions for financial cost control;
• in case of award of contract: planning to receive the necessary authorities' permissions and approvals; site construction planning for the contractor's use, where problems related to the development of the executive planning are assessed;
• construction site safety and maintenance planning;
• construction work direction: of both operations and equipment installation; technical assistance to both constructor and supplier about papers updating, accountancy statement drawing up, variance surveys etc.;
• final "as built" drawing up and collection of certifications.
